From Nokesville. Sending Aloha to Lahaina. One of the two amazing charities we raised money for this past weekend, Maui Strong received a strong donation from a very small community. Together with the Northern VA Ukulele Society, Cedar Run Brewery, and supporting Hula dancers (myself included), we raised over $2000. Not bad for a sleepy town like Nokesville.

It’s just a pebble in the pond. Maui will need years to fully recover and continual national and international support. There are many meaningful groups and communities to support. Please don’t forget about Lahaina as time passes and the world moves on.
