Terms of Agreement for Booking a Show
Performance Space Needed Highlighted-
For Dance: A minimum of 10 by 10 feet for movement
An enclosed place to change close to the performance area, an electrical outlet close to the performance area, an area to perform, and free parking for dancers. The enclosed space for costume change cannot be a public access area where items stored can be disturbed. If you are providing your own sound system, please let us know so we can ensure proper music equipment
A 15-minute waiting grace period, if needed, in starting the entertainment later than the scheduled time. If we need to wait longer than the 15-minute grace period you will be charged an additional $1.00 per each minute (I.E. 5 minutes = $5.00.) This is to respect the entertainer’s time as well as obligations to other events that may be after yours.
We are responsible for our own safety following the guidelines given and release any injury that may occur as a result of performance. Similarly, guests in attendance may not pursue legal action if injured.
We are not responsible for weather change. If your event is outside please plan on an indoor performance area otherwise we still require full payment. If a need to cancel arises we request 48 hours of notice before engagement otherwise if we arrive without notification of cancellation the full payment.
Once your payment and contract are received, we cannot guarantee that we can change the date and time stated in the contract. We will try to accommodate your changes but if unsuccessful we will void the contract 50% of payment is non-refundable. This is to help protect our time as well as yours.
If any pictures are taken during your event by DC Hippodrome Variety Show Entertainment, LLC., the client grants DC Hippodrome Variety Show Entertainment, LLC permission to display selected images resulting from this event as an example of Dance for our website and promotional media. Therefore, releasing all claims to profits and privacy that may arise from the use of our images.
In the unlikely event that the performer(s) are injured or become too ill to attend the event, DC Hippodrome Variety Show Entertainment, LLC will make every effort to secure a replacement performer. If the situation should occur and a suitable replacement is not found, responsibility and liability are limited to the return of all payments received for the event package to be returned to the client.
As of today DC Hippodrome Variety Show Entertainment, LLC collects all payment due before the scheduled performance for booking. Please submit payment here. A PayPal account is not required for credit card payments.
